The number one reason why procrastination is bad.
The more you put something off, the farther you are from it. By the time you get to the task you procrastinated on, your perspective will have already shifted. Therefore, the assignment would either be meaningless or focused on a different direction.
Because we're on the go, our perspective is always moving. Your viewpoint will evolve as you move forward, as you converse, connect with more content and people, build on ideas, and expand your tribe.
Picking up something that you started months ago is hard because you're no longer in the same place, or the same mindset, or the exact positioning. Therefore, the more you put off something, the more removed you're going to be from it. By the time you get to that project that you should have done 3 months ago or 6 months ago, you're going to be an entirely different person.
The reason procrastination is a mistake is that you are consistently evolving and growing. That project you left behind is farther in the rearview mirror from the perspective you currently have.
